HRM was Faulty

Used for a week before I realised that the HRM wasn’t holding a connection to my watch or phone and therefore was not reading my HR at all. Contacted Garmin who were happy to send a replacement after some trouble shooting. My friend has also ordered this HRM hopefully hers works ok. I would not recommend this product based on my experience. I’m hoping the replacement works.

Fastest turnaround; good product

Have the older Garmin HRM, but that doesn't fire up Zwift indoor trainer. The dual paired immediately, and no problems. Same strap as the previous version, so now I can have one in the wash. Unbeatable service and delivery speed.

Second time using/purchasing this exact product. Use it every day for training for 60+ min/day - never had any issues with connecting to device or battery/electrical issues. Enjoy the fact that it can connect with concept2 rowing ergometer (PM5) and WattBike monitors with ease; that was the selling point for me. Would highly recommend for athletes that are looking for a reliable training tool that don't want to break the bank.

Garmin Strap HRM

At first I had problems getting the HRM Strap to sync with my Garmin watch. Had I purchased a dud? I decided a process of elimination. Checked the battery. It was fine. Changed the battery - no different. What it came down to was the how to wet the strap to get a better contact to the body. I checked out YouTube for advice. Its better to wet your body where the strap will sit rather wet the strap. Being plastic the water just flows off so its dry when you adjust the strap on your body. Anyway it worked. Wet your body and the strap will connect and sync w your Garmin. Despite the Garmin other redeeming features - in comparison the Polar watch HRM is by far the best on the market and most accurate and consistent.

Synced immediately with garmin , smart trainer and have had no problems with it . The old Garmin HR worked but stopped syncing with Tacx trainer. Very happy with purchase ,super comfortable to wear and adjust too .
