I much prefer this watch to my Garmin 265 as the app is really nice and watch is so pleasant to use in comparison. The watch is very light and the white colour is really nice. The screen is very bright and easy to read.

Called the phone number on the website and was reassured with the right model to get, it arrived the next day, I was a bit sceptical but it was 100% authentic and my Garmin feels like a brand-new watch, I’m coming back next year to replace my band because it’s the cheapest way of making your watch feel brand-new
I bought the watch for its suitability for trail running, and as such it is a great watch. Maps are brilliant and detailed, Climb Pro feature is great, screen is perfect and all the details I ever wanted is there. Only downside is ghat Garmin still not supporting Garmin trails in NZ , which is a shame. Hopefully in the near future.
I wanted to have a better recording of my heart rate and talked to the team at Fitness NZ. Fantastic guys, great advice, they new exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. Very easy to set up and also very comfortable to wear. Thanks team!
Sad to give up my old Garmin but the forerunner 165 functions are better advanced, GPS connection is also a lot quicker. Love it

Great running watch with heaps of features - many that I haven't fully explored yet! The smaller size and colour way is perfect for my tiny wrists. Way more accurate (and reliable) than my Apple Watch - and the battery life is great. If you haven't had a Garmin before, it does take a bit of getting used to in terms of functionality and finding where all the features sit... but once you've got that sorted, all good. My only gripe is that I should have waited for the Black Friday sale... but that's on me!

I was hoping to buy a Swim 2 until I realised they were no longer available. The Forerunner 165 was a reasonable price but I was not sure it would have everything I needed. It has been fantastic for pool swimming, open water swimming and biking activities.

Still learning how to use it. Not as intuitive as say an samsung watch or applt watch imo. But im getting there.
It replaced my Garmin Forerunner 225 after 9 years because my run would last longer than the battery, which can't be replaced. The 165 is more responsive, lasts many hours and records data very well - more data than I need! The 'social' features don't grab me with the corny tips and greetings, which tend to get in the way, but the core records of pace, time, route and heartrate are great. It's also slim and streamlined with a bright readable display. You soon get used to the display's 'flick' wakeup.
