How easy, we walked into the store showed our watch that needed a new strap. We were given choices and it was fitted for us. Job done with friendly service. Thank you
Still learning how to use it. Not as intuitive as say an samsung watch or applt watch imo. But im getting there.
It replaced my Garmin Forerunner 225 after 9 years because my run would last longer than the battery, which can't be replaced. The 165 is more responsive, lasts many hours and records data very well - more data than I need! The 'social' features don't grab me with the corny tips and greetings, which tend to get in the way, but the core records of pace, time, route and heartrate are great. It's also slim and streamlined with a bright readable display. You soon get used to the display's 'flick' wakeup.
Excellent entry watch by Garmin. Excellent service and delivery speed by Fitness NZ; Thanks team.

Easy to setup, the screen is so much brighter than the previous Apex Pro I had. Very snappy, you really notice it when scrolling through the maps and having trail names on the maps is super handy! Battery life in the first week has been great, but that's what you expect from Coros. GPS has tracked flawlessly on my runs and HR the same, I would say the later is improved with a quicker response in workouts.
Great new watch strap. An improvement on the original I think.
Great service. Fitted the new strap & advised me on the chewable energy chews.
Absolutely love this watch. Set up was easy and working 🪭
I thrash these sunglasses, it's my second pair only because I lost the first pair. I wear them everyday, perfect for running, cycling and when Im in the canoe in all conditions. Theyve never fallen off my smaller head 😂. I'll definitely be buying more in the future.
Great service - really fast delivery - no problems at all.
Got a bit of a sharp tang when you drink it but it definitely woke me up and got me moving when I was racing. Would get again
Brilliant watch. The guys at Fitness NZ are the best to buy from. We've bought a couple of things from them before & the knowledge of the Garmin range in particular is really good.
I switched to this watch from a Forerunner 265. While this watch has a good lot more features, they are a bit cumbersome to use at this stage. For example I use Daily Suggested Workouts and the 265 offered the next run automatically the next day when starting a running activity while on the 970 I need to click around quite a bit to continue my training. There are other little annoyances that will need software updates to be ironed out. Other than these, it has all the great new bells and whistles that I may or may not use in the future. All around good watch but not yet streamlined software-wise.
Easy to order, arrived fast and have had no problems with it :)
I have only used the Garmin HRM-600 a couple of times so far.
The HRM itself is nice and light. When I clip the HMR on the strap, it stays on.
When I put the HRM on, it starts flickering green to indicate it is connected, which I like. I also like that it tracks my active calories and resting calories for my workout.
The two guys who served me were fantastic and answered all of my questions when considering this purchase.
After 15 years of Garmin HRM chest straps, I’ve decided to take a break from the chest chaffage and opted for something smaller, rechargeable and slightly more washable. Even though I’m not a Coros guy, I’m impressed by the ease of use with my Garmin and even Bluetooth equipment at the gym. The price point is great too. The trade-off is that you lose some of the advance running metrics you might get with a Garmin chest strap, but on balance I’m a big fan of this for everyday training 💜
Great service and honest sound advice. No pressure, just the info you need from a supplier that knows his products.
I have a medical condition where I need to take in more fluids and salt. These are perfect for that. They are very salty but the flavours are nice.
I use these all the time on my long trail runs. Was on a huge one 10 days ago on Rakiura and a friend got really bad cramp so I gave him a packet and lots of Hydration fuel and it saved him he was able to finish and in limited pain. He is now hooked and will use them all the time. Nev er run the trails without them in my pack.
Happy i got the music model, great feature for running
