I'd been hanging out for the November Garmin sales and hesitant to spend such alot on a watch but its miles better than my previous smart watch. Early days yet but it looks like the guidance is paying off. I got the heart rate strap too and they make a great combo. No regrets. Awesome shipping speed
Needed a new running watch. Searched online and Fitness NZ popped up. Rang to confirm stock, ordered online then watch arrives next day. Well done Fitness NZ!
Gorgeous watch, heaps of features, nice bright easy to read screen
Upgraded from an old Fitbit and I'm loving this watch. Garmin coach was the reason I got this and I'm enjoying all the exercise suggestions.
Great watch for the price, screen is bright and vibrant, buttons nicely tactile with all watch functions able to be used with touch screen or buttons. More fitness data than on the non-sporty Garmin range, enough to help with training but not extensive like the higher range watches. Good storage for music or podcasts (music version).
Overall perfect for the casual runner, very happy with my purchase.
I love it. It looks great and is so easy to set up and operate.
Great watch so far. Does exactly what I wanted and more from a smart/fitness watch. Great service from Steve at Fitness New Zealand cheers.
Premo. Love this. Have this on my Harley with shock absorber. 140ks with wind and rain, phone held solid.
Easy to pair with watch. Had issues at the start due to tattoos on the arm now wearing it on forearm with no issues.
This was an expensive, but worthwhile upgrade from my previous Fenix 6 Pro. Bigger screen, easier to read graphics, and more features.
Upgraded from 245, and I love it! Am even enjoying the amoled display more than I thought I would. Good analytics, suits my needs. Today is day 11 and I'm charging it for the first time.
Had to replace my older Garmin and chose to try the Coros as it was much less expensive. I am impressed. It is more accurate than the Garmin especially on the treadmill, literally to the meter. I watched the km tick over on the treadmill and felt the buzz on my wrist at the same time. No need to calibrate which I was constantly doing with the Garmin. It is also lighter so barely noticeable weight wise. The app is great and while initially I wasn’t able to connect it to MyFitnessPal, I simply connected it to Strava and Strava to MyFitnessPal. Problem solved. Definitely worth the money and a fantastic alternative to Garmin.
My go to place for anything Garmin in NZ. Needed some sensors for transitioning outta e-training to road training. Cadence and speed is really all you need. Sensors strap onto the bike easy. 200km down and so far so good. Arrived to North Island in less than 2 business days. 👍🏼
Great watch! The music function works very well! The watch was delivered very quickly, which was great, too!
I've used the Garmin Vivoactive and Vivoactive 3 for the past few years and this is a better watch for running, particularly because it uses buttons rather than touchscreen controls during a run. The Vivoactive had to have the screen locked manually if running in even the lightest rain and this made it more difficult to operate on the run.
There is more than enough info recorded for me and the data screens were a bit fiddly to set up but then I found it was easier and clearer to do them via the phone app. The longer battery life is great and although I still need to spend some time customising it I'm very happy with the purchase.
This is great stuff. The lemon flavor is subtle and light, which makes is super easy to drink.
I find it helps to hydrate me really well, which is great as I sweat buckets during exercise. I would recommend this and I will be buying it again
Highly rate for a HR monitor. Also, very quick delivery.
Such a great watch for the price point. Great service, super fast shipping 🙂
Great watch. Took me a bit to figure out the multiple functions. It’s incredible how many functions are hidden in this little watch.
Thanks also to Fitness NZ for their Easy and fast delivery. Price was unbeatable
Excellent price and fast shipping from Fitness NZ. The strap is more comfortable than I was expecting. Keep in mind 2 things, this model can only display 4 fields at a time on one data screen, vs the Forerunner 265 which can display 6 (but the 165 is several hundred dollars cheaper), and it seems Garmin devices come with a USB-C charger cable so if your regular charger outlets are USB you'll need to buy a different charger cable. Overall, for the price this Forerunner 165 tells me everything I need for running (I have an Edge 530 for the bike already) and general exercise and I'd highly recommend it for the recreational to moderately serious athlete. I'll probably end up using this Forerunner for cycling too because it doesn't require wearing a HR chest strap.
I purchased this watch for my husband, who is a keen capable runner. He is very happy with the watch. It provides all the data that he is after. Is very light weigh and easy to use.
Highly recommend
