On/off
Press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds or double click the switch to turn on the lamp.
Press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn off the lamp.
Mode switching
With the lamp switched off, press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on the lamp and enter the white light mode.
With the lamp switched off, quickly double click the button to enter red light mode.
Output selection
White light mode: single click the switch to cycle through Low→Med→High→Turbo.
Red light mode: single click the switch to cycle through Constant-on→Flash.
Lockout Function
Lock: with the lamp switched off, press and hold the switch for 3 seconds, the lamp will blink 4 times on the Low output of white light mode to indicate locked status.
Unlock: with the lamp locked, press and hold the switch for 3 seconds, the lamp will be activated on the Low output of white light mode.
In locked status, clicking or pressing the switches will activate 4 blinks on the Low output of white light mode to indicate locked status.
Battery Replacement
Unscrew the battery cover counterclockwise to insert the battery in accordance with the polarity marks, then screw the battery cover back on.
Charging
1. Turn off the light and unscrew the battery cover counterclockwise to take out the battery, then connect the USB Type-C end of the charging cable to the battery.
2. The indicator of the battery will display red while charging, and will turn blue when fully charged.
3. Once charging is completed, be sure to unplug the charging cable and insert the battery in accordance with the polarity marks, then screw the battery cover back on.
Battery Level Indication
With the light switched off, single click the side switch to check the battery status, the indicator in the switch will last for 3 seconds. Each time the light is turned on, the indicator will show the current battery level and will last for 3 seconds.
Green light on: 100% - 80%
Green light flashes: 80% - 50%
Red light on: 50% - 20%
Red light flashes: 20% - 1%
*Note: This only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series battery.
Intelligent Overheat Protection
The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 50°C/122°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 50°C/122°F, the lamp will gradually recall the preset output level.
Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. When this happens in Low output, the lamp blinks 3 times every 5 minutes on the Low output of white light mode to remind users to recharge or replace the battery.
*Note: This only works with a Fenix ARB-L18 Series battery.
Headband Assembly
Notice: The headband is factory assembled by default.
Rotate the dial clockwise to tighten the headband, and rotate the dial counterclockwise to loosen the headband. When the headband hits its maximum length, keep rotating the dial and the operation direction will reverse.

A: Fitted with one Luminus SST40 white light LED and two 2835 red light LEDs; with a lifespan of 50,000 hours each.
Fenix does not provide LED replacement services for the time being, and users are not recommended to replace the LEDs independently, which may affect product performance and cause product damage.
What is the colour temperature of HM62-T?
A: The colour temperature is 4500-5000K.

A: The operating voltage is 2.7V~8.4V.
Is HM62-T rechargeable? How long is the charging time?
A: The included 3400mAh is rechargeable. Charge the battery by inserting the USB Type-C end of the charging cable into the battery's charging port. Charging the included Fenix ARB-L18-3400U V2.0 using the 5V/2A charging adapter takes approximately 3 hours from drain to full.

Why does the HM62-T downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while and the higher mode cannot be selected?
A: There are two reasons:
1. Intelligent Overheat Protection
The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at relatively high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 50°C or above, the lamp will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature.
2. Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Eco output is reached.
Why does the HM62-T happen to flicker?
A: The reasons that may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate:
A: Poor battery level.
Solution: Charging the battery or replace the battery (Ensure battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s specifications).
B: The contact point or contact of the battery or headlamp is dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

What kind of battery can be used in HM62-T?
A: Fenix ARB-L18-3400U V2.0 battery is recommended. Compatible with 2 x CR123A batteries. Other Li-ion batteries are not recommended. As High output fail to headlamp up due to current and voltage limitation, an unmatched battery may cause the headlamp to fail to work normally.
