How many carbs do I need?
During intense activity carbohydrates are your body’s primary energy source and more can be absorbed per hour when they come from dual sources. As a rule of thumb you should be aiming for around 30-60g of carbs per hour for activities of 1-3 hours and 90-120g of carbs per hour for any activities over four hours.
